Prom- Makeup tips and trends for 2017
Prom is just around the corner and beauty expert Tiffany Elie has some amazing tips and tricks for you to look and feel your best!
First, choose your dress. The dress in Tiffany’s opinion is the most important, as it dictates the hair, makeup, and color palette.
Make sure to play up only ONE feature. Doing more than one will look too heavy for a spring event and outdoor photos. Choose either your eyes or lips to make a bolds statement
Skip the SPF for the night. Sunscreen will make your face look white or extra shiny in photos. Even though its important to have protection from UV rays, you can just skip it for the night to look better in pictures and in person!
Perfect your skin and make it look natural! Tiffany recommends to conceal blemishes and redness, but NOT a heavy, cakey foundation.
Get ready in natural lighting. Natural lighting is a perfect setting to test your look in both an indoor and outdoor setting. This will ensure you to look fabulous in outdoor lighting as well as indoor.
GLOW NOT GLITTER: This is an important one. Remember, you want to glow not litter! Carefully place highlighter on the highpoints of the cheek bones and brow bone. With oilu skin and a sunny warm day- Your skin will look extra shinny
WHAT TO BRING IN YOUR PURSE
This is a necessary list of what to bring during the dance. This will help make sure your makeup will stay perfect all night long
- Lipstick/ Lipgloss
- Transparent powder compact for taking away any shine or oil
